Citizen racers first, followed by: Women Cat 4, Women Cat 1/2/3, Men 60+ (Cat 1-5), Men 50-59 (Cat 1-5), Men 40-49 (Cat 1-5), Men Cat 5, Men Cat 4, Men Cat 3, and Men Cat 1/2 racer’s last.  Order within each category is determined by preregistration.

Pre-register at on/before Thursday, July 25, 2013.  

State Championship Race = $30 or $35 race morning.  Because this is a USA Cycling Championship Race, a USAC annual membership/license is required (1 day licenses do NOT qualify and will not be sold).  Memberships can be purchased through USA Cycling ( or onsite for $60.00

Citizen's Race = $20 or $25 on race morning.  No USAC license is required for this race.

.Race-Day Registration opens at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013 and will be located at the Crooks Community Center 701 S Western Ave, Crooks, SD, 57020. Registration closes at 8:30 a.m. The first rider will depart at 9 a.m.

The time trial is a 40K circuit course beginning approximately 2 miles from Crooks Community Center south on 258th Street (Renner Road).  Riders will ride south ~4.25K on 258th Street turn right or north on 464th Avenue and ride ~7.5K then turn right or east on 250th Street and ride ~3K then turn right or south on 467th Avenue and ride ~5.5K where road will bend to the east follow road ~1k and turn right or south onto 468th Avenue ~2K turning left or east returning to start area for finish.

All pre-registered riders will receive a pair of FCA Endurance cycling socks (on-site registrants will receive socks while supplies last).  Medals will be awarded to the top 3 per category (citizen category not eligible for state medals).  Prize list of $320 total will be presented to the fastest 3 men and fastest 3 women of any category (citizen category not eligible for prize award).  The award ceremony will be held near the registration area 15 minutes after the race results have been posted.  A drawing will be held after the race for all race entrants.  You must be present to win.


All USAC rules apply. Helmets are mandatory. The course is NOT closed to auto traffic; the yellow line rule will be enforced. The first rider will depart at 9:00 a.m. Subsequent riders will depart at 30-second intervals. All riders must check in, sign the release and pick up numbers before 8:30 a.m.
