Hello! You have found the web site for the 5th annual FCA Endurance Burnsville 5K held in Burnsville, MN. We are excited about this event, and after great success last year, we are staying with our "something a bit different"... we're racing on Wednesday!

This race is held yearly as a way to serve runners in the Metro Minnesota area with a great, family friendly race. Below are the details. If you've got any questions, please contact Chris Anderson at 952-486-8036 or canderson@fca.org.

Race Course

Course Description

This is a 5K (3.1 mile) race starting near the Bi-Centennial Gardens (corner of Nicollet and 130th).  It is a well-marked, rolling (some might say hilly) course through Burnsville residential streets, run on a wide shoulder.  It makes one big loop, ending in the Bi-Centential Gardens.  There is a water aid-station roughly half way through the course (corner of Parkwood and 134th).

Awards (gift cards and/or useful prizes) will be given for the first 3 men's and women's overall finishers as well as the top men's and women's finisher in the following age groups:

40-49

50-59

Over 60

All pre-registered participants will recieve a technical race shirt and snacks after the race.


Directions

 


The race will start and end near Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, MN.  The church address is 12921 Nicollet Ave, Burnsville, MN.  A map and driving directions are available here.  Ample free parking is available in the church parking lot.  Registration is just inside the south church doors.


General Rules


 *Note these may be modified by the Race Director at any time.
- All participants must stay on the course as marked (primarily the right shoulder of the streets used).
- No pets allowed.
- Strollers may be used by walkers ONLY.
- Must pick-up after yourselves on the course (or discard at aid station).
- Respect and courtesy is expected towards all officials, volunteers, and course residents.
- Personal music devices (radios, CD, MP3, etc.) are prohibited.
